Sometimes we need more than just a Facebook photo album and picture captions to tell the story of an event. Sometimes we need a digital scrapbook, one that will let us insert captions and videos, to tell the story of our life adventures.
Cue Photobucket Stories, a new feature on a site a lot of us are familiar with… or used to be before the age of Facebook. They’re making a comeback, and yes, you can share your completed stories directly to your Facebook Timeline.
Click through to see the Photobucket Story I created to show off Leyna’s first 3 months. I got to get all sentimental and look back on pictures from when she was a teeny tiny, while she threw a full blown 2 year old tantrum at my feet.
Since I haven’t been so great at documenting our own life lately (I know, it’s terrible), I decided to set my first story up like I would if I were finally coming out of the haze of life with a newborn 3 months later. The first thing I thought when I saw the new Photobucket Story concept was how cool it would be to use it to introduce a new baby to family and friends.
I love the way Courtney from Click It Up A Notch used it to tell the story of her pregnancy, including all her wonderful videos! Talk about a great digital gift to pass on to your child.
Photobucket is hosting a Life’s An Adventure Story Contest, and giving $25,000 to one person who creates and shares their life’s adventure story. 5 runners up will get $500 each. Hurry and start curating your digital memories! You only have until December 9th to enter. I know so many of you are the creative, story-telling type. Get on this!

AWESOME.
I’m in love with the Photobucket story I made of Leyna as a newborn. If you have a life adventure to share (hey, having a newborn IS an adventure), you could win $25,000!
