The bag of conversation hearts I opened as soon as I got in the car after grocery shopping this morning would agree with you, but I already ATE THEM ALL.
Is it wrong that I told my husband to wait until today to buy me candy if he really wanted to for Valentine’s Day. I know…I know…totally romantic and cost saving! Lol!
I dont know WTH happens, but even if I go at 8 am there is NEVER anything left. Not after any holiday. Well unless you count like, sponge bob or something. all the good stuff is gone. I found out a dirty (crappy) secret: our store doesn’t order anything once they run out. Too bad. That’s why my ‘discount’ shopping has sucked this year. They just let them run out and get next season stuff in. basically zero sales.
We had too much candy, cake pops, and brownies in our house yesterday. I cringe at the thought of getting more. My kids were w.i.r.e.d!!
I’m merely advocating buying it for yourself and hiding it from the kids!
and flowers, just picked up a dozen roses for 1/2 off.
I must be a genius then 😉 And don’t forget about the day after Easter.
I’m so cheap I’ll even shop around and find which grocery store or drugstore has the best marked down candy.
I totally wait til the next day. I scored mega big on M&Ms today. Hell to the yeah.

So true! I went to Walmart and got my candy hearts that day.
I found a HUGE box of Zachary’s cream filled chocolates at kmart for $1. I totally bought them for a friend’s birthday and should have bought the whole stock. Today at walmart, I found wrapping paper, stockings, ribbon and bows left over from Christmas for LESS than $1 each.
