Especially if you’re a mom with a camera, or a mom with a laptop, or a mom who wants a stylish and very multi-purpose diaper bag, I think you’re going to want this. (Or a non-mom with a camera or laptop!)
Let me begin by saying this is not any sort of sponsored review. I bought this bag back with Epiphanie had it on sale for 50% off late this summer because I’d been in love with their bags for many months and I desperately needed a camera bag.
I’ve used it for a couple months now in so many different capacities, and I feel like I owe it to all of you to share what I LOVE.
Dare I say, of all the fancy, strictly “diaper” bags I’ve owned (and I do have a Petunia Pickle Bottom fetish), this is my most favorite of them all… and it’s technically a “camera” bag. Let me show you why it works, for me, as both.
It’s the Paris bag, and it’s quite large. I was going to take a picture of me holding it for you to get an idea, but I am on day 5 of the plague and I’m afraid a picture of me might be contagious. I’m just looking out for you here.
It’s not SO big that it’s impossible. I think it’s just bigger than you imagine it will be when you order a “camera” bag, but I love it because of that. It’s size works wonderfully for me, especially with all the organization going on inside. Check out what I mean:
Here it is in business mode. This is very similar to what it looked like when I travelled to L.A. last month. The stuff I fit inside of it, from top to bottom, left to right:
momAgenda Desktop Planner
iPad in Zagg keyboard case
13″ MacBook
wallet
Klean Kanteen
(Imagine my camera, lens down, in that empty pocket in the middle. Not shown because, obviously, I’m using it.)
a manual breastpump (Yes! A breastpump in my camera bag!)
Now, here it is in mom mode:
a onesie
wipes
wet bag
diaper (I could easily fit 2-3 cloth diapers in it)
wallet
coffee sleeve
sippy cup (with a trusty lid, leak proof)
imagine my camera, lens down, in that middle pocket that’s empty
snack bars
a covered Snack Trap
The back has a handy pocket for my phone:
It actually fits all the way in that pocket with plenty of room to spare, I just have it peeking out for a visual.
I think this turquoise color is sold out, and it appears to only be available in black and purple now. There are several other Epiphanie bags, though, of different sizes, styles and colors. I can’t speak for any others as I haven’t  had a chance to stuff them full of my crapola.
I just happen to be infatuated with my Paris now, and thought I’d share.

I don’t have a camera or a diaper to put in it, but could see how I would fall in love with the compartments. Love the color too.
I love the inside, and all of the roomy compartments, but I just can’t get over the outside. Does it look better in person?
I think it’s adorable in person. What is it that you don’t like?
Is it heavy to carry, though? That’s the only downside I can foresee with this…
When it’s totally loaded down in business mode, yes, but that’s exactly what I would bring with me on the plane, so it doesn’t matter what I put it in. It’s all going to be heavy. The bag itself isn’t that heavy. It all depends on what you put in it. When I’m out without my camera, I take my every day diaper bag because I don’t need this much room. But, if I want to take my camera out with me and the kids, it’s nice to have an option that holds it all.
I just got an Epiphanie Ginger, and LOVE how cute it is! Is it okay to store your camera lens down, though? (I don’t know much about camera storage, and my camera is new, so I’m so careful with it!)
Oh, I thought that’s how you’re supposed to do it! Don’t rely on me, I’m no expert.
Cute, and I like the velcro-pocket-ness of it all, but I just saw the price. HAHAHAH yeah right!
I so want one now!
I have a purse with built-in compartments from Avon but its a plain light beige little thing.
Now, to save up! 🙂
I got the Lola in the turquoise for my birthday this year – it was backordered so it took a while to get here, but so worth it. The color and the craftsmanship is SO nice. I have yet to figure out exactly how I want to rearrange things to customize it for me, especially since I can’t decide how I want to lay out everything inside it so I can carry my camera stuff as well as my purse necessities. The inner dividers seem really tough to de-velcro and move around! But I love the bag so far.
I want one of these bags SO bad. And the macbook inside. And the ipad. Damn you, Dave Ramsey, for not letting me get any of this right now!!!
p.s. how often do they do the 50% off? That’s awesome!
I don’t know! Make sure you like them on Facebook. That’s how I caught wind of it. This wasn’t the bag I coveted (that’s the Clover), but I sprung for this one since it was half the price, and I don’t regret it.
That’s totally the ONLY reason why I got it, and I listed an old Coach diaper bag on Craigslist to cover the cost. Believe me, I wouldn’t have all of this if I wasn’t very creative in getting it 🙂 That iPad was a gift from my dad. And the macbook? Well, that is a serious business expense. I wrote that bad boy off a couple years ago.
Oh, that’s a good point. I have a PPB that I never even use anymore. Maybe I could sell it and upgrade. The Clover is my favorite too!
I have often thought of buying a laptop and writing it off now that I’m pursuing freelance work. It would be much more convenient than always having to write at my desktop! Sometimes a girl just wants to write in bed!
Three words…I need this! Thanks for giving me something to put on my Santa list!
Cute bag! My questions is where do you put your wetbag when it has dirty diapers in it? If we are out for a long day with several diaper changes most times we end up carring the wetbag seperate which becomes a real hassel.
I just zip it and roll it up and put it back in the back. I’ve never had an issue.
Oh i love it! Especially since I’m still in the camera in the camera bag and the iPad stuffed in the diaper bag. I need to consolidate. Love!
So glad I found this post, the Paris is on sale for 30% off right now, my birthday is in two weeks, and I don’t yet have a diaper bag I love for my little boy, who is almost 6 weeks! Everything lined up perfectly!
[…] Pretty Things: Everything (and then some) rides in my trusty Epiphanie Paris bag (blinged out with a little Mabel’s Labels swag from Blogher […]
Or Mother’s Day!! 🙂
I now have bag envy. Mine is a very functional, not too pretty Nikon thing my hubby got me for Christmas. It holds my camera, one lens, and a few accessories. NO diapers, cups, wipes, etc.
Heading over to Epiphanie …
