Our “toy grave yard” is our garage which is directly under our kitchen. They never are allowed in there so it is the perfect place. Out of sight, out of mind!

Hehe I do the exact same thing! Sometimes things get lost up there…

LOL, I love this! Unfortunately, in our house, we have climbers… and they’ve already scale the kitchen counters. I’m afraid this trick would only encourage the crazy climbing. ha ha haa. I LOVE that Buzz is up there… I confiscate Buzz in this house too… We use the linen closet… or if it turns out to be a large scale confiscation (like trains) I use reusable grocery bags that get hung on hangers in the back of my closet. 🙂

oh God, just hope my husband doesn’t get the idea that it would be cool to try this trick on me, lol, the tech time out closet would not be a hit with me!

You forgot “and all the things that will make a terrible mess if you find them while unsupervised” (ie paint, play-dough, etc). Love these posts!

We do that too!! And since I can barely reach the top of my refrigerator things often get forgotten up there.

This makes my heart smile. The top of someone else’s fridge looks just like mine! 🙂

Woody and Buzz Light Year, that must have been some attitude

This highlights what sucks about having cats. The top of my fridge is cat territory, they will search and destroy anything placed up there!

At least they are cute and cuddly. Most of the time.

It is the best hiding spot! I do the same in my house 😀

The top of the fridge is where our cat (very wisely) hides from our toddler when he wants to play. We stick all the other stuff on the fireplace mantle.
