This blog post is actually my first ever as featured blogger on TheBump.com. I will be writing two entries for them a month and will let you all know here when they are published. I have to say, I’m super excited about our partnership. TheBump.com is a great online resource for all things pregnancy and baby related, and I have met so many wonderful women on their message boards who have shared this crazy journey with me. Way to go Jill! That’s great and exciting! I still hold my opinion that you should write a book 😀

Hi! I have been reading your blog since you started trying to get pregnant, but I have never commented before. I am a major lurker, I’m not currently TTC, but I just hang around baby stuff because, you know, its on the brain. Anyways, I love your blog! You keep it real, and I love that.
Way to go on becoming a featured blogger on thebump! You have such great, funny, and smart words to share, and I agree with Amie, you should write a book!
Take care!

nice, double post, kind of…sorry bout that 🙂
What a great article and so right.
I concur on all points. Except for the mashed potatoes–it’s fries all the way, baby.
I’d also like to add re: freaking out over child not breathing at night–as soon as you figure out they’re not dead, you totally want them to go back to sleep. Like immediately.
That’s okay, Amy. I know sometimes this is a little buggy 🙂
And thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm. Now I just have to keep up the good work when I have actual deadlines to meet.
Maureen, yes, French Fries are a far less messy option. They are like portable mashed potatoes 😉
Also, I must agree with you on the going back to sleep thing. That gave me a good laugh.
Awesome, awesome post. I laughed reading the whole thing. 🙂
