Earth Day Everyday! Fuzzibunz Giveaway

This giveaway for a limited edition FuzziBunz Earth Day diaper was supposed to happen back, you know, around Earth Day, but then we tore our house apart and all chaos ensued. The good news is the diaper itself states that it can be Earth Day every day, so that really works in my favor. Lets just say I planned it this way. Right? Okay.

Up for grabs is one super cute, super functional, very limited, Earth Day FuzziBunz One Size Pocket Diaper. I know you cloth diaper collectors are all oohing and ahhing over it right now like it’s that Garbage Pail Kids/Pokemon/Swatch Watch you always wanted.

It's the perfect accessory for her back chub.

Even those of you who are not diaper collectors as much as just plain ol’ diaper users will still like it’s reliability and the way it fits babies from 7-35 lbs. We’ve been using some FuzziBunz with Leyna since she was born and I am super impressed. I love the way they fit, no leaks, and their colors are great!

To win, leave a comment telling me one thing you or your family does to be kind to the earth.

Extra entries include any or all of the following (please leave a separate comment for each thing you do, allow time for moderation):

Disclosure- FuzziBunz sent me the Earth Day diaper at no cost to review. All opinions are my own.

Love Me A Cute Diaper! AppleCheeks Review & Giveaway

Oh, and it’s functional, too. But really? Super CUTE! I’ve been able to expand my fluff stash considerably since having Leyna, and it’s so exciting to try out new diapers. This size 2 AppleCheeks in cherry tomato (and the size 1 in raspberry sorbet before it) did not disappoint. It was the perfect outfit for a hot Memorial Day yesterday.

I love those little ruffles that stick out the back and around the legs! Turns out they’re pretty good at keeping messes in. Not a single blowout or leak in this diaper. Not one.

The inside of the diaper is super soft, lined with micro-fleece. The outer shell is extremely flexible and soft, too. In fact, I’ll admit that, at first touch, the diaper seemed a little… flimsy. As I mentioned before, though, it’s done a super job, has been really durable, and I actually love how thin and light it feels now.

A unique feature of the AppleCheeks pocket diaper is there is no need to unstuff! Really. I swear. I’ve never once taken it out of the dryer and found an insert crumpled down in one end, not clean or dry. I’m a little spoiled by it.

The only downside, for me, about AppleCheeks is they aren’t one-size-fits-all. There are 2 sizes. Size one fits up to 20 lbs, size 2 fits 18-40. Leyna was actually busting out of her size 1 by the time she was 3 months old. BUT, let’s all remember, she’s a beast. 99% of babies will not grow out of size 1 that fast.

And, as with all her cloth diapers, even the largest size is getting a little snug due to her massive leg chub. The good news is they sell these waist extenders, which add an additional 2 inches of wiggle room. While I’m really hoping we won’t need them until she’s much older, it’s nice to know we have that option to extend the diaper life a little longer for big kids.

A Little Bundle, which includes a cover and insert, is $28.71.  Any order over $40 gets free shipping.

AppleCheeks wants to giveaway a $30 credit to their online boutique. (Please note the winner will be responsible for any remaining balance and shipping if applicable.) All you have to do to win is comment below, telling me what your favorite color AppleCheeks is (so many GORGEOUS colors!). You’ll get an extra entry if you do any of the following:

Pretty, Pretty Picaboo! A Photo Book Giveaway

Thanks to Picaboo for sponsoring this post. To learn more about Picaboo photo books, cards, calendars and other printed products visit http://www.picaboo.com?siteID=B_BR. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I’m in love and see a serious addiction in my future- to Picaboo photo books. Good golly, this is the nicest photo book I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing my pictures printed in. Yes, this was/is a sponsored review, but I’m 100% positive I’d feel the very same way if it wasn’t.

Let me break it down for you like this. The picture quality is fantastic. The colors are spot on. The full bleed pages are amazing.

The paper is substantial. The lay-flat pages really do lay flat, a little feature I didn’t even realize I’d like so much until I saw it in person.

From the glistening, gorgeous photo on the front, to the soft leather wrapped around a very thick cover, the book is luxurious. That’s really the only word I can think to describe it.

As I mentioned in my first post, the book came together fairly easily with their software. I am blown away by the finished product and so happy we finally have these pictures living somewhere other than my computer!

I wound up going with The Madison with 20 lay-flat pages, regularly priced $150. I will be the first to say that’s steep (to me) for a photo book. And while the quality totally justifies the cost of the book full price, I would be more likely to buy it with a discount. The good news is Picaboo is always offering great specials. The next time a coupon pops up that applies to this book, I will definitely think of printing another one with Kendall’s newborn pictures. I’m already pricing out and planning on FINALLY printing a book of our wedding pictures from almost 5 years ago.

Now, for the fun part. One of you will win a $50 Picaboo Gift Card! Maybe some of you scrapbookers out there would be interested in applying it toward a new 12×12 Classic Custom Square book?

To enter, all you have to do is comment below telling me what you’d like to print in a photo book.

After you do that, you can get additional entries by doing any or all of the following:

My Digital Picture Hoarding Intervention, With The Help of Picaboo

Thanks to Picaboo for sponsoring this post. To learn more about Picaboo photo books, cards, calendars and other printed products visit http://www.picaboo.com?siteID=B_BR. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

Throughout the last 5 years, I’ve collected thousands of images of my life with those I love. I have bridals, boudoirs, engagements, wedding, maternity, newborn pictures and many, many  shot with our old point and shoot. Add to that the images I’ve snapped with my new camera since Christmas and Leyna’s arrival, and we’ve got enough pictures to plaster the inside of our house from top to bottom, left to right.

And yet, I’d say .05% of them are printed or framed. They all live in my computer, on hard drives, flash drives, photo sharing accounts and old DVDs. This picture?

Not printed in a photo book for Kendall to look back on in 20 years. This one?

2 week old Leyna

Destined to only be seen when scrolling through my photo album on my Mac, locked away in a computer.

That’s why 2011 is the year of the frame and photo book in this house. I’m going to get these amazing images we’ve captured of our family blooming off of this damn computer and into the real world.

Enter Picaboo. One of the many things Picaboo does is allow you to create one-of-a-kind photo books, simply. The last time I created a photo book about 4 years ago, it took forever to get the look I was going for. I spent hours in PowerPoint arranging pictures in a layout I liked and then uploading them as a jpg. You can see why I haven’t been jumping on the photo book bandwagon since having babies, then. I was so intimidated by the amount of time I thought it would take.

With Picaboo, all I had to do was download their photo book design software and get to work. I was even able to work on it from the road without an internet connection. The software makes it super simple to select the pictures you want in your book from your photo library on your computer or from a disk or flash drive. Once you have the pictures uploaded, the real creative fun begins.

Now, you can still get a very persoalized book, laid out just the way you’d like with the “From Scratch” option. But, what I like best is that you don’t *have* to spend all that time personalizing to get a great looking book that’s anything but generic by using the “Auto Create” option. Using one of the many, many amazing templates, you can still make changes to make the layout work best for you and your pictures. And by using the “Story Flow” option within “Auto Create,” the program actually groups similar pictures together. So. Smart.

For this book, I decided to fill it with all those amazing images Jessica Marchetti Photography captured for us when Leyna was 5 days old. I chose The Madison in landscape format. I’m still tinkering with it just a bit, and plan to put the final touches on it tonight while I force my sister to watch the kids for me. I can’t wait to get it back and see this picture come to life outside of my computer screen.

So tell me, am I the only one who is a digital picture hoarder? Anyone else out there need an intervention by way of photo book? If you do, you’re in luck! There is a great coupon for 25% off 11×14 and 12×12 Classic Custom Books over at Picaboo, good through April30th with the code BIG25. Be sure to check in at Picaboo’s specials page often. That’s where they will always list their current discounts.

AND, once I get my photo book back, I’ll be doing a second post announcing a Picaboo giveaway. Stay tuned!
