The Kidoodle.TV App & Family Moments are Going To Solve A Lot Of Problems, And You Could Win An iPad Mini!

This is a SUPER exciting post and giveaway. HUGE! Giant thanks to  Kidoodle.TV®, a company I really admire, for sponsoring this. You guys, this is going to be so cool. Let’s go!

The KidoodleTV team REALLY wants you to try out their app. They are certain if you download it, you’ll love it. And once you register, you get to keep the 2GB of storage free FOREVER. We recognize that not everyone can take the time to create a video (explained at the bottom of this post) to win an iPad mini. So, in addition to the iPad mini, we are offering a $100 Amazon gift card in a SEPARATE Rafflecopter widget, and all you have to do is download the app, then provide us with the email associated with your account. Check out all the details below.

Okay, to start, let me just tell you a little story. Last week, while my sister and cousin were in town for a visit, Lowell was wandering around with the TV remote while the adults conversed in the kitchen.

Suddenly, my sister began to contort her face and react in shock and horror to what she was seeing on the TV. I turned to find that Chuck the Truck had been replaced by the opening scene of Orange Is The New Black (very R rated, verrrrrryyyy R rated), at the hands of my button happy toddler, all while my 7 year old sat in the same room (too engrossed in Minecraft on his iPad to notice, THANK GOD).

I did the slow-mo, quicksand run and managed to find the power button just before Kendall looked up.

So this brings me to the first AMAZING thing I want to introduce you to- the Kidoodle.TV app and all the awesome ways it makes it totally safe and fail proof for your kids to enjoy a little TV/Movie watching without ANY risk of accidentally landing on a sex scene in another random show.

AND how they make it easy for you to see how much time they’ve spent watching, control the exact amount of time they are allowed to watch, and even exactly WHAT they can watch. (Don’t want them watching old school Jem and the Holograms? I mean, your loss, but it’s also totally your call.)

So, already, this is a really useful tool for families. And, speaking from experience, it is SUPER easy to set up and control. The user interface is awesome.

As for the show selection, yeah, your kid isn’t going to find all their new favorites in the Kidoodle.TV library, but they may find a few! (Chuck the Truck is there for LoLo! Leyna loves Bo On The Go, and Kendall’s stoked about Transformers.) But there are tons of really great shows they’ve probably never seen, including some awesome art and how to draw shows.

Alongside those tv shows and movies, Kidoodle.TV just launched Family Moments™, 2GB of storage with a free account, or 100GB of storage for $4.99/month.

Family Moments let’s you free up space on your devices, safely and securely store video (photos coming soon), send them to friends and family (who do not have to have a Kidoodle.TV account to view them), AND it let’s you and your kids access them alongside the hundreds of family friendly TV shows and movies in the app.

You know what this is WONDERFUL for? I’m pretty sure my kids aren’t the only ones obsessed with making their own videos of themselves playing video games or playing with toys. Now we can upload them to our Family Moments, the kids can access them whenever they want, and they aren’t hogging up the memory on their iPads.

AND THEN they can share links to those videos with friends and family without the need for a YouTube channel!

If you’re okay with me sharing your video on social media, please let me know in the comments! I’d love to grab a few and put them together in a funny clip right before the contest ends.

Oh, and here’s Lowell’s “Lemon Face.” He has been wanting to suck on this lemon juice forever. So we let him, thinking that would cure him of it. Ummmmm… I think that backfired. Click here to watch the video. I’m linking it to where it’s stored in our app.
