Leyna Lorelei- 2nd born, middle sister, hair twirler, obsessive snuggler, paci-aholic, bossy, nurturing, and addicted to pickles.

She’s sugar and spice and everything and nothing I ever expected my daughter to be.

This post is sponsored by Poppy Drops, which is awesome because I love when companies I love want to work with me and give free stuff to you.

She’s her big brother’s biggest fan and greatest enemy. She’s a wonderful babysitter for her little brother. And she’s her daddy’s best helper.

She’s tough and she’s delicate. She loves pink and sword-fighting with the same ferocity.

She will spend half a Saturday in the garage with her very own hammer, getting dirty…

And the other half digging through my makeup bag.

She’s big into the makeup thing these days. And the jewelry thing. She likes a nice earring to accessorize her bike helmet (which is really just a hand-me-down with Cars characters all over it).

Except she doesn’t have pierced ears, and she won’t sit still enough for me to paint her nails. She’s 3, going on 13. But I want to keep her just 3 as long as possible.

We’ve been having a ton of fun together with Poppy Drops earrings, nail art, tattoos, and perfume.

They are made from vegetable dye, and other non-toxic stuff. They are fun and easy. No piercing, paint, or icky chemicals required.

The earrings are our favorite, with the perfume stick coming in a close second. The sweet little tattoo earrings surprisingly last well over a week- much longer than stick-on earrings. The perfume stick is soft and has a gentle scent, but enough of one to make her feel really special.

There is SO much I love about each of my children- boy and girl. There are special moments that aren’t defined by their gender, and I’m totally down with painting my sons’ nails, and such. But this is a special little ritual just for Leyna and me for now.

I’ve gotten to know Shelly, the founder of Poppy Drops, and I just adore her spirit and her mission. This is a great company with great products that I think will give so many parents and daughters a special bonding experience.

So I’m thrilled to give you all an opportunity to win an entire year’s worth of Poppy Drops earrings, along with a sampling of everything else they have to offer!

  1. My nearly 3 year old niece, Evan. She’s the tomboy that was meant to be, except now she’s discovering makeup and taking pride in dressing up. And like myself, her mom doesn’t believe in piercing her ears 🙂

  2. I can’t wait to try the earrings. I will have to order some very soon for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She often asks for earrings when she sees me putting mine on and her dad says no pierced ears until she is 6.

  3. Love!! I ordered my 3 year old some earrings after you posted about it on Instagram – it’s my way of circumventing the ear piercing she wants – and it’s PERFECT!

  4. My 3yr old mini me would love this grownup type stuff that’s perfect for her! I think I’m definitely going to order some for her stocking stuffers for sure:)!

  5. My 1 year old is the same! She’s a tomboy and a girly-girl, makeup and toy trucks, bubble baths and mud baths hahaha she doesn’t have pierced ears yet, these would be great for her!

  6. So cute! I had forgotten about stick on earrings. These look even better. My daughter is only 9 months, but I’m sure she will like these before long.

  7. My daughter is also 3. The middle child with two brothers. Our kids are amazing similar. A girly tomboy who mothers the baby and fights with her older brother. Smart, sassy and awesome

  8. LOVE LOVE LOVE these! I saw these on bebehblog and loved them! my 3 year old is really into girly dress up time and tattoos so its a win win! LOVE how affordable they are too, I was actually planning to put some in her Christmas stocking this year

  9. My 4yo daughter, who sounds like she would be bffs with yours. She wears tutus to dig in the dirt. She’s a middle sister who is 4 going on 14, yet still wont wipe her own butt or go into a dark room.

  10. My daughter would love these products. They are both into makeup and jewelry but also love playing superheros. My youngest (soon to be middle) is three as well and your Leyna reminds me of her down to the love for pickles 🙂

  11. My 4 year old little girl LOVES Poppy Drops earrings and I do too. They don’t fall off the instant after you stick them on and they don’t get stuck in hair like stick on earrings do.

  12. Love these, can’t wait till swim weather is almost over to start using them again! My daughter loves her poppy drops, she calls them her “pretties”, so she is always asking me to put her pretties on her ears.

  13. I cant believe I’ve never heard of these before! Both of my girls would benefit, the two year old who loves to dress to football jerseys and the 4month old who has no hair and is always called a boy (despite her pink clothing!)!!!

  14. These are a great idea. My daughter has her ears pierced but won’t wear earrings because they bother her ears! This is a great alternative.

  15. These would be so great from my 2.5 year old. I want to wait a little longer to pierce her ears, but would love to put earrings on her!

  16. I find out tomorrow (9/17) whether my smoosh is a boy or girl. If girl, I would keep it for myself and my new baby girl. If smoosh is a boy, I would share with my best friend’s daughter!!

  17. Sadie would love the earrings! She wants pierced ears so bad but gets anxious about actually getting it done. These would be perfect!

  18. I have a 2 1/2 year old who is earring obsessed. I love the idea of little temporary tattoo like earrings, such a smart idea!

  19. Cute and adorable, I have 5 grandsons, so if I am selected as the winner, my little neighbor will delight in such a wonderful gift!! 🙂

  20. My 14 month old going on 14 years – equally full of sweetness and feistiness. We’ll also share with her identical twin cousins.

  21. These would be perfect for my youngest who is 4. She is allergic to regular earrings and the adhesive on the sticker ones. She wants earring so bad but with her allergies she just cant.

  22. Love these! My four year old has been asking to get her ear pierced…but I know better than to try that with this drama mama. The tattoo earrings would be a perfect alternative.

  23. My sweet girl would love these and I’m sure her little brother wouldn’t let her keep them all to herself for long!

  24. These are adorable. My 2 year old loves getting her nails painted. I’m still amazed she can sit still but it’s one of her favorite things to do.

  25. My six year old has just started asking for earrings but she’s not ready for pierced ears yet. This would be a perfect temporary solution!

  26. My 2 year old and youngest daughter! Big sis has pierced ears, but she doesn’t. She would love to be able to look like her. I know my oldest daughter would love the perfume stick, too!

  27. These would make a great party favor for my daughters 2nd birthday, I can’t wait to share this great product with all her girly friends!

  28. This sounds so fun! I think it’s just the right little something special for my little one when she becomes a big sister in the spring!

  29. My three year old daughter and first born. Each day we spend together is like me watching myself as a child. She has my personality through and through. Maybe she will share with her baby sister?!

  30. I would love to win this for my dd Addison she is my mast baby & my only girl. She loves to play with my hair & follow everywhere I go.

  31. I love these so, so much! We have no plans on getting Lila’s ears pierced anytime soon, but I am sure Lila would LOVE these! I also have a feeling her and Leyna would be BFFs based on how you described Leyna above. 🙂

  32. My daughter is allergic to all metals. We have had her ears pierced several times and sadly she can’t wear real earrings. She would love to have these since her 3 sisters are able to wear regular ones and she feels left out.

  33. My little girl would love these! She likes clip ins but they hurt after a while. Stickers never last, and Poppy drops sound great!

  34. I’d like to share this with my daughter. Since her little brother arrived, I try to carve out special time with her and this would be perfect.

  35. Leyna sounds so much like my daughter who loves batman and frozen equally. She loves to wear her Dusty Crophopper shirt with her tutu and runs around in my heels while singing the Batman theme song. She will be 3 in December.

  36. My daughter who just turned three at the beginning of the month would absolutely go bananas for this!!! The products sound absolutely wonderful! Fingers crossed 🙂

  37. What an amazing idea! My daughter (Dylan Rose, who just turned 3 in August) has recently become quite interested in earrings, and necklaces and rings…but has been a little rough and tumble for the clip-ons that were gifted to her. The ‘tattoo earrings’ would be a brilliant option for her! My little girl… chasing and capturing the creepiest of crawling bugs, giggling and exclaiming her love for them, all while wearing her streams of necklaces and dress-up heels! I’ve no idea what the future holds for her… everything, I suppose. 🙂

  38. I would love to get these for my own 3 year old! I’m sure once baby sister arrives and is a little older she’ll want in on the action, too, but for now, it would be wonderful to share with my little feisty daughter.

  39. I have an almost 2 year old that is becoming more and more of a girly girl every day. I can’t wait for dress up, nail painting, and things girly girl because I know it may not last long so I’m looking forward to soaking up every moment I get while I get them.
