My oldest child is only 6 years old, but technology has changed so much since he was born. The majority of the photos I took of him as a baby were with a (slow, cumbersome) point & shoot. They live on an old hard-drive, and some in my neglected iPhoto library. And though he was our first, and it felt like we took plenty of pictures of him, the quantity has nothing on what I have of my 2nd and 3rd babies.
In a word- prolific.
I believe we are the first generation of parents who will end up with more pictures of each subsequent child than the first, at least for those of us who consider ourselves digital documentarians.
For me, Instagram, in combination with a more than capable phone camera and editing apps, has changed everything. I love how easy it makesย taking and curating photos of life’s little moments. They aren’t always the moments I choose to print and frame in large sizes, but it’s a shame that so many live only on my phone in digital format.
So I’m a sucker for ways to get pictures off of my phone and into my home (check out this previous post with more great ideas).
When Rendi told me about their Photo Tag system that works with their Story Boards, I was immediately sold on the idea, and happily agreed to work with them on this giveaway for you all! Because, seriously, I know so many of you are going to love this as much as I do. And I know so many of you are also looking for ways to feature and then store your favorite photos.
So the first thing I did was pick out the design and add a quote- “Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.”– to the Story Board I ordered that came with tag credits. Then I downloaded their app to my phone ( the app is available in the Apple and Google apps store, but you can also order from your computer).
Then- while nursing late at night, which is when I do some of my most important work- I designed and ordered my tags. The process could not be easier. Tag credits include shipping, so there’s no need to enter any financial info once the tag credits are purchased and applied to your account.
I got them in the mail the next week, and promptly hung them up on my boardโฆ then wished I had a bigger Story Board! The kit came with an archival quality box where I can store tags as I take them down to make room for new onesโฆ.
But the tags are too pretty for me to put away just yet.
I love that I was able to add some details to the back of each tag for future reference when I do get around to storing them, though,
The tag quality is top-notch. They are super thick, very durable, and the photos print beautifully onto them.
Right now, I’ve managed to fit 2-3 on each hook of my Story Board and have fun rotating them with the kids.
And while I really do like the Story Board I created through Rendi, I also think we’ll make a DIY version soon because I’d love to hang these tags in our office, as well. Shouldn’t be too hard to come up with something fun and easy that will be a great backdrop for the Photo Tags.
I also love the idea of taking pictures of the kids artwork, and using this system to display it! Hmmmโฆ may have to work on that, too.
One final note- how awesome would these be for grandparents?! So many times, one of my parents will comment on a picture I post that they really want a print of it. With the Rendi app, I can go in, order the picture on a Photo Tag, and have it shipped straight to them.
If they have a Rendi Story Board ,ย a DIY story board, or just a hook on the wall, they can easily hang it up right away. No need for a frame or to clutter the refrigerator with magnets.
I’m telling y’all, I love this concept. And I LOVE that I get to give one 3-Tag Story Board kit away to one of you!
And everyone gets 25% off everything at RendiStyle.com (except their new Otterbox phone cases) with the code BABYRABIES25 through July 15th.
Enter to win in the Rafflecopter widget below.
(So sorry, Canada! Rendi currently only ships to the US.)

I am tired of all my favorite pictures getting ripped down by the toddlers in my house off of our fridge! I would get my favorites for the story board instead!
I’d use a Rendi Story Board to remind me of all of the incredible trips we’ve been lucky enough to take together – even the small moments!
I have a nearly 7 month old daughter and have yet to actually put photos up in our house. Everything is on my phone! I would love to win this and get something on the wall!
This is awesome! Always looking for something that will inspire me to actually print pictures…
I’m the same way….all old photos in a hard drive, or even printed and still in the box. ๐ This is a really practical way to display, and quick/easy! Thanks for the share!
I use stickygram magnets now but this is an even better idea in the long term!
This is looks like it will be perfect for my iPhone pictures!
I would love this to make our new home more homey! We have hardly any pictures on the wall
This looks absolutely awesome I have so many unprinted pictures of my kids on my phone what a great idea
I’ve been using Target’s digital photo ship to home option for prints for grandma. But this is an elegant idea too!
I would just do something with the thousands of pictures of my phone. I feel this is the perfect way to display them! I’m so looking forward to try it
I love this! I would put instagram photos on here and showcase the little moments that make my life so full.

I love these! I take so many photos, that I’ll definitely have to look into getting one….or a few!
Looking forward to giving a board to my mom as a housewarming present, and sending her monthly tags for rotation. Hoping to get my step-sis involved so they can have a grandkids board in the hall!
So many great photos live on my phone and never make it into “real life” I love the idea of being able to rotate them as great pics come up
I would love to have multiples if these up all over the house: hallways, bedrooms, laundry room, bathroom!
awesome!!!!
Love, love, LOVE the great way to get the digital pictures on display at home!
I would to put this in my dining room. I never print our pictures. ๐
To get photos off my phone!
Looks neat!! I started following them on Instagram after your post on there!
I love the idea of having a space where I can rotate the pics of the kiddos.
This just forever changed Father’s Day, Christmas, and Grandparent birthdays! Epic!
I would use this for my 3 little princesses that live in my house.
This looks really nice!!!
I would use a Rendi Story Board for the memories of my 15month old and our little family. I never have time to buy frames because he breaks everything. I also have way too many photos so the story board would definitely be great for me. I want to be able to show off his pictures without them being ripped or frames being broken for once.
Amazing!!!
With a toddler and a baby on the way we would find plenty of uses for a cute photo display!
Love this idea. We’re awful about printing out pictures, and we take a ton! Love that you can easily rotate photos.
Such a cute idea! I’m good about storing them digitally, turning them into slideshow videos, but love a way to show off multiple prints in your home at once!! Thanks for the opportunity and letting us know about this cool product, as always.
I think I really like the idea for grandparents. My MIL always wants pictures and I send them electronically and I don’t think she ever prints them!
Thank you for this product info, its a cool idea. And thanks for the
opportunity to win one free.
These are so cute! I’m due with our second baby a month from tomorrow, and this would be a perfect addition to our home, as we’re about to have a huge influx of new pictures!
I would love not having to have frames in our tiny apartment.
I would use it to have a beautiful place photos of my 4 (soon to be 5) grandsons – YES, you heard it right 5 – NO GIRLS!! ๐
I would use Rendi to hang pictures of my 7 month old son! I have yet to actually hang any photos of him up in the house.I have had some printed though, baby steps… And the Ren DUI story board would make it so easy to actually get the photos on the wall.
To put up pictures of my kids
What a great idea! I would love to win!!
I would put this in our entry!!!
This would be awesome!
Love your idea as a grandparent gift!
Such a cute idea! It would be perfect to display pictures of my 3 little ones.
What a great idea! I just downloaded 1700 photos from my phone only to save them to my laptop and eventually burn them to a DVD.
I have not ONE picture of our kids hanging up. I have a 5 yr old, 3 yr old, and 1 yr old (and another on the way!) and haven’t found the time (or effort) to print the ones I like, frame them, and hang them. For our wedding, someone gave us some of our wedding portraits in gorgeous frames, so that’s the only thing hung in our house. Eeeeep!
This board would automatically qualify me for the Ultimate Mom Bonus Round.
I would use it in the kitchen, the room I am in most often. It would be great to have up to date photos of the kiddos, since I am really lazy about keeping framed photos up to date.
I have a 7 week old, so I definitely have more pictures than I know what to do with!
Too many blank walls to fill! I need several of these story boards, so many pictures I need to do something with instead of just storing on my phone’s sd card.
What a neat photo display! Would love to give it a try.
Ever since I got my first iPhone a year ago, I’ve been using it to take so many photos. I try to incorporate them into photo books but it is so hard – I love the idea of using the Rendi board to enjoy these photos. We just added on a mudroom to our house and I’d love to use the Rendi board there as a way to see this photos as I leave the house each day.
My 2 1/2 year old LOVES looking at pictures of herself. With her baby brother on the way I would love to let her pick out pictures of herself and change them up whenever she felt like it.
I’d love to use this to display all of my “everyday” pics from my phone!
I would definitely use this to display pics of my two kiddos….considering my most recent pics displayed are of my oldest son at age one (he’s almost 5).
this would be such a perfect way to personalize a blank house!
To show photos of my daughter & husband ๐
I’d love to use these in my baby’s room and change them/add to them as he grows!
Oh man! I got all excited about these and then saw no Canada ๐ Love the idea.
I saw something similar the other day but this one is even cuter. I have so many pictures that are languishing on my phone. I love the idea of using it as a gift for the grandparents.
Oh, definitely to display my kids. Would be awesome to rotate pics around the holidays, too!
I’d use this to have pics of my kids, and I think I need to order one for Christmas gifts for the grandparents! So cool!
For photos of my daughter!
I have yet to print or put up any pics since we moved into this house…this would give me a chance to get my butt in gear!
To decorate my new house! ๐
I love this! Can’t wait to try it out!
I would display my pictures in my new house. It would be a great way to change up what is hanging on the wall.
These look SO cool.
This is amazing I was just upstairs thinking I needed to print done of mine off my phone
I would use it to print those pictures and display pictures of my baby boy
I am the worst with getting photos off my phone! And I have over 3000 since my son was born two years ago.
Love the grandparent gift idea! My parents can’t get enough photos of their first grandbaby! ๐
Too many picture on my phone and not on te wall. I’d use this to change that and make my home more inviting.
I’d love to get all those photos of my 3 boys off my phone and out on display!
I love this idea. The DIY will be great I’m sure.
I can’t wait to get one of these in my home! I am obsessed with pictures!
I love the idea of making a larger DIY board for all family members houses, and shipping them tags as requested!!
5 kids. Seriously 4000 pics on my phone. This is thee most perfect solution to getting them off my phone and displayed. It’s genius!!
I’d love this to display pictures of my 3 little boys (2yrs and 4mth old twins)
These are so cute. I’m thinking Christmas gifts!
I have a 6 month old and suffer from the same issue as you, all my pics are stuck on my phone or on my sd card. Would love to win this so I could get motivated to print some of them. Thanks for the chance!
Love to hang this in my hallway
What a neat idea!
I have a new granddaughter and have so many pictures on my phone that need to get printed. This would be perfect for displaying some pictures and being able to change them up when I capture the next “perfect” picture.
Interchangeable tags – genius! I love it.
I have so many pictures of my littles that I would love to hang up like this!
This would be awesome to display a variety of iPhone pics! There are so many! Thanks for the giveaway!
I just got a smart phone and I have so many pics just sitting there. I love this idea!
I love this idea! My oldest is 10 so most of her pictures are print, to think digital wasn’t all that common ten years ago! Now 4 kids later, I currently have 5000 photos on my phone. And hard drives with thousands more. I adore this idea and will order one anyway ๐
I’ll definitely use this to display some seasonal pics throughout the year and rotate them. A Christmas board would be fun too.
This is such an awesome idea. Especially for grandparents that live far away!
Looks like a great idea – I have so many un-printed photos!
I love the idea of sending grandparents surprise mail ๐
I LOVE this! I would use it just like you are and rotate pictures throughout the year! I think it would be so much fun at the holidays!
How awesome is this?! I’d love to add it to our gallery wall.
Neat idea, I have so many pictures on my phone that I or my parents/friends have wanted. I did print off a bunch bug they are just sitting on an end table in the living room. This is an easy way to display them and then store them later!!
I love this idea!!!
what a cute system!
i’d love to use this to decorate the nook where our kitchen table is! blank walls galore ๐
My husband is our photographer and would love this! I think the grandparents would too. Now the challenge is to pick the best from our thousands of photos ๐
This is a fun idea! Perfect gift for the grandparents too!
So cool!
I’m going to be getting a cell phone (it’s been almost 6 years since I gave it up to stretch our budget) this would be awesome because I know I’ll be taking photos left, right and center!
Great idea!
Jill, these are the perfect Christmas gift!!! Love!!
I need this I have no actual print pictures of my second baby. ๐
With three kids, I don’t have the time to put too much effort into printing out the gazillion photos I take…but am craving more photos of my kids actually IN my home! Plus, I noticed that one set of grandparents still don’t have any photos of my 8 month old. Time to send them a few nice ones to hang?? ๐
Cool idea!
Awesome idea! I currently have over 2000 photos of my 10 month old baby on the icloud. HELP! Now I just need help with the 400 + videos. Thanks!
Love this idea! I would hang it below our cork board with my kids artwork
Beautiful gift idea too!
I love this! Especially the easiness of switching out pictures whenever you feel like it!
I just moved into a new house and would love to use this to decorate with!
very cool.
I’m thinking grandparents–definitely.
That is the coolest way to show off the moments. I want one!
I would use this in our family room.
Love this! What a fun way to display new pictures of the kids
To keep pics of my LO and the cousins up and as up to date as possible. We are far away from family, so it will be a good way to keep our baby girl current with her cousins!
Love this idea!
My sister is expecting a baby at the end of the year and this would make a perfect gift:)
We moved into a new house over a year ago and I have yet to put many pics on the walls. A Story Board would be a great place to start! ๐
OMG what an awesome idea. I would use it to display all of those instagram photos I have!
So many pictures and I never print them. This is a great idea!
This would be awesome! I have so many pictures on my phone that I never get printed. Thanks for sharing!
I’d love it! It would be great for helping little ones remember events and important memories.
We just got the keys to our new house, if I don’t win one I’m asking my husband to get me one for my birthday.
I would love these! Some many pictures on my phone!
Love this!! I need it!! ๐
Would love this picture board! I have a 6 month old and already have a couple thousand pics of her. Many on my phone. Need some way to display them!
I’d love this because it might actually get some pictures of me and the might-as-well-be-hubs in the house!
I love that they’re easy to switch out, committing to framing and hanging something makes picking the -perfect picture- too stressful!
I would use it in my entry way with the new table I got. It would be a great talking point while entering and I could change the photos with my son.
Thank you for introducing this idea (and for the 25% discount!!)
I’d use it right when you come in the door. Hang up your keys and look upon my progeny!
I’d use it for a gift more than likely. I’d need a bigger board for our home lol.
Love this idea!! I need it! I need it now. ๐
I would absolutely love this! Getting the photos off my phone and onto the wall- what a great idea!
I would use it for instagram pictures!
I’d definitely give one to my grandparents. They would love it!
I need this in my life. I would use this in my hallway and hopefully like you said, get some of these freaking pics off my phone and into my life.
I would hang it on the top of the stairs with photos of fun times to remember with my kids.
I have so many photos that live only on my hard drive. I never seem to have the time to do a photo book or get the pictures printed (cause then what?) This sounds like a beautiful way to showcase my families moments and it seems that I can do a few at a time based upon my schedule. Less guilt = happy mom!
I really like the idea for grandparents. All of our kids grandparents live 4+ hours away and this would be a great and simple way to send them updated photos of the kids.
I would love to get pics of my phone and onto my walls! I love the tags!
I love this! If I don’t win, I may have to figure out how to make one. ๐
I would absolutely love these for our new house! I’ve got a 9 month old that we take way too many pictures of, and I love this idea ๐
Rendi Story Boards- A Photo Solution & Giveaway http://t.co/KL7BQeNHeg
So awesome! Love this concept.
I love this and want one for my office, living room, bedroom….
I would gift this to my mom for her hallway!
That’s AWESOME! I have so many photos of my now 5 year old that we never see from my pre-Nikon D800 days, from an old point and shoot ๐
Would love to get photos off my phone and onto the walls
I’d use it in our office too
I’m going to order a storyboard for the grandparents and add tags for them periodically
Perfect gift for good friend who is a first time grandmother! Thanks for the opportunity!
I’m horrible at printing and framing pics. This would be a great solution! I’d love to have it in my kitchen.
I LOVE these storyboards. The owners of Rendi visited my MOPS group in Denver awhile ago and I’ve wanted one ever since. I’d put mine up in my dining room and maybe have a pre-dinner tradition of switching the tags or something. This would also make a fabulous DIY.
Oh how I would love to win this! I’d give this to my kiddo’s great grandmother as a gift!
Great idea! I’m always looking for fun ways to display photos. Great gift idea too!
To showcase pictures of my 2.5yr old and 4 month old. We slack and have no kid pictures hanging! Oops.
I love this idea for the grandparents!
Hope I can win this for my friend Victoria ๐ she takes amazing photos that she could use on this ๐
I love this idea. It would be great for my parents!
That is so nifty. The whole time I was reading this I thought how neat of a baby shower gift this would be. I love of the creative ways to use our technology we have become so dependent on.
I would use it in my kitchen. I take so many pictures with my phone this is a great way to be able to print them.
My Mom or MIL would love this for Grandparents Day coming up in Sept…but I’d hate to choose btwn the two of them sooo maybe I would just keep it for myself:)
Did you see Rendi shut down their site? I have a bunch of credits that I’ve not used– not sure if they’ll refund. Such a shame.
I heard! Gosh, I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope they refund you!
I have been trying to figure out how to get my credits!!!
Great idea!!!
Super bummed, I’ve just stumbled on your site and this. I’ve not yet checked out the sponsoring site but I am sure I will be hooked! Photography is my thing, no kids, but I do have Bulldogs whom I have over 5000 of one in his first year.
Thanks!
