Scott does this thing with Kendall a few nights out of the week where they sit down and they practice writing letters and numbers.
Tonight was the number 3.
“Half circle, half circle,” they repeated together until Kendall got the hang of it.

Well if that’s not just the cutest thing in the whole world.
How sweet! My husband says “MIZZOU!!!” Haha, he’s a huge fan!
Go Tigers! We’re off to a great start in the SEC.
So sweet! I taught our daughter how to draw hearts the other day. “Draw a V, then 2 bumps!” Now every scrap paper is covered in heart doodles.
That is the sweetest!
That’s awesome!
Such a great way to teach him to write and I’m sure absolutely adorable to watch/listen. Glad he’s enjoying learning to write!
Jeez. why didn’t I think of making my husband do this? I’ve tried everything to get my kid to write, she doesn’t want to. She can read. Like 2nd grade level books. But refuses to write. Damn. You are so smart.
I even, you know, gave her markers and a board with the dotted lines, and someone gave us the dotted line paper stuff, and I did the whole ‘shaving cream’ thing… she drew roads… ROADS. Argh. I have even bribed the kid with candy, and it’s a no go.
I guess that’s daddy’s next project. With a giant bag of candy.
Well, I can’t take credit. Scott’s the one who’s been adamant about it for the last 6 months or so. If I try to teach him to write, we wind up screaming at each other. Give it time. I think it’s one of those things you don’t want to force. If she can read, I’m sure she’ll pick up writing really quickly.
My almost six year old daughter got it right from the get-go, at about the age of three. But my 4 year old son could care less about letters, numbers or anything but outside and dirt!
I love this. Man they are cute.
that’s totally adorable! I have those crayons too in the kids dept at work! theyre awesome! x
