So, very exciting fun news to share with all of you! I became a pageant queen over night after winning my very first title!
Not really, BUT I am going to be taking part in Blographer- “a full-day gathering for serious bloggers focusing on photography education, creative tips and techniques, and strategies for successful photo blogging,” on Thursday, August 2nd in NYC, presented by Adorama.
My role? Miss Blographer. I don’t know what I did to be named as such, but I sure am excited to be a part of it and practice my “World Peace” speech. Even more excited to hear from and learn from the amazing lineup Adorama has put together!
If you’re going to be in or near NYC at all during that time (for, I don’t know, maybe another blogging conference) and you want to learn how to better use photography to improve your blog, or you just want to come learn more about photography in general, you should totally register!
As far as conference ticket prices are concerned, this event is CHEAP. It’s $69 for one ticket, OR $99 for two tickets. So bring a friend. You’ll both save $20! There will be food, prizes, and swag (from sponsors like Clickin Moms and Canon), of course. Most of all, this all-day event will really give you a chance to learn more, ask questions and make connections.
I’ll be the one announcing all the speakers, giveaways, and wearing a sash… maybe. I hope to see a lot of you there! If you plan to go, let me know.

Wish I could join you! Sounds like a fun time. I totally thought of Miss. Congeniality when I read this. 🙂
ha I spy Lotus, I haven’t read her blog in a while!
I’ve been thinking about attending. Is it good for all types of photogs? I don’t have a camera with changeable anything so I’m wondering if this will be above my head. But I totally heart Clickin Moms and you of course. 🙂
I don’t think it could hurt. They’re really trying to keep it at a level that’s not too advanced. With the size, it should be easy to ask questions and get to know others a bit, too.
Good luck at the event! Look forward to seeing highlights of what happened! Photos are key to any blog as far as I am concerned. Would love to have attended but I don’t live in NYC or the USA – boo hoo! Have fun!
I’ll be there & Can’t wait! 🙂
