Get Your House In Order With momAgenda (Giveaway)

Okay, confess. Are you feeling frazzled yet? I mean, I know this time of year is all about wonderment and joy and celebration, but it also comes with a huge side of over-worked, over-scheduled and over-committed.

You all know I love me some momAgenda products for getting organized, and I have an awesome one to give away to you, just in time to try to put your life into some sort or order before heading into the new year. It’s really the best momAgenda product I’ve given away so far!

Behold, the All-In-One-Folio, the MOTHER of all home organizers.

Inside, you’ll find super handy tools for organizing an entire household like a very large monthly calendar (2011 and also a 2012 to replace it with).

There are several sheets for you to fill out important information, birthdays, doctor’s info, even directions for the babysitter.

But, my favorite part has to be all the very sturdy, large plastic pockets that you can organize in a way that works best for you and your household. I finally have a logical place for all my coupons! (Extreme couponer, I am not, but I hang onto a few every month and have a heck of a time finding them when I need them.) I also now have a logical place to put paperwork that needs to be filled out and returned so I’m not sending it back with crusted mashed potatoes on a corner from that time that stack of mail was between my plate and the stove.

And no organizer is complete with out a place for notes and LISTS. I’m trying to put less demands on myself these days. My to do lists used to be 20 items long, and made me feel like a failure at the end of every day. Now? I simply strive for this:

Everything else is gravy.

Here’s how to win:

1. Leave a comment telling me where your favorite place to stash “stuff” currently is. You know, like do you shove everything in a junk drawer? A basket? In your fireplace… and then light it on fire?

Extra entries for:

2. Tweeting I’m getting organized with @momAgenda for the holidays! I entered the #giveaway @BabyRabies http://www.babyrabies.com/2011/12/5482/  #momAgendaCOMM

3. Following @BabyRabies on Twitter

4. Following @momAgenda on Twitter

5. Liking Baby Rabies on Facebook

Please leave a separate comment for each entry. I’ll use Random.org to draw a winner Monday, December 12th.

Disclosure: I received a momAgenda All-In-One folio to review. All opinions are my own.

**Contest Closed. Congrats to Andrea, commenter #16, as chosen by Random.org!**

  • Julie S. - My stuff gets stashed on my desk, and it’s not pretty. That’s the last place that I ever clean up/organize and it’s always a mess!ReplyCancel

  • Karen - I stash stuff in a basket on the fridge. I should use a drawer so no one could see it!ReplyCancel

  • Julie S. - I follow momAgenda on twitter.ReplyCancel

  • Karen - Already follow on Facebook 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Becky H. - I have junk baskets in each room of the house:) One for mail in the living room, one in the kitchen plus DH has one in our room. That way our clutter is spread out!ReplyCancel

  • Emily - Holy smokes THIS is what I have been looking for! I am a crazy list maker. Problem is, due to my mama brains, my lists normally end up in piles.. Piles of bills, paperwork, coupons, receipts.. Eventually I organize these piles and they become more piles. Piles of piles. They multiply like OctoMom.ReplyCancel

  • Emily - And on Facebook? I like.ReplyCancel

  • Becky H. - I follow you on TwitterReplyCancel

  • Becky H. - I LIKE you on Facebook!ReplyCancel

  • Domesticated Gal - I’ve got a very pretty hammered tin bowl engraved with dogwood flowers that was originally meant to hold holiday treats. Now? It holds EVERYTHING. All. Year. Long.

I’d like to say its one of those systems where it looks like a mess but I know exactly where everything is in it. But it’s not.ReplyCancel

  • Domesticated Gal - I also like you on FB.ReplyCancel

  • Domesticated Gal - And already regularly stalk you on Twitter.ReplyCancel

  • Domesticated Gal - And WordPress would like me to slow down on the comments. But whatev. You should also know that I’m currently stalking Mom Agenda on twitter too. Because you said so. And I want to know the second they get more of their Home Office Organizers in…ReplyCancel

  • Brandy - All of my crap ends up on the kitchen table, and it drives me NUTS!ReplyCancel

  • Andrea - At this point, it is wherever it fits, since my official “junk” basket is overflowing!ReplyCancel

  • Sara Austin - I have a black shelf in my kitchen that I just shove things in all week and then I hope I have time on the weekend to go through the piles!ReplyCancel

  • Katie Lacer - Ugh, all of our junk ends up on our mantle. It’s terrible.ReplyCancel

  • Jennifer - I have a basket in my kitchen that collects everything. I hate this basket, yet it is a necessity! Now that I have kids in school I really need a place to put all of those lists and notes!ReplyCancel

  • Kirstyn Febus - All of my “important stuff” cuz it’s ALL important ends up in my wall office cabinet.. it’s very pretty on the outside… I get a lot of compliments! BUT no one is allowed to ever open those doors but me.. lol. even my desktop computer has lost it’s way in the pile somewhere in there. I have the utility closet where there are some important stuff.. NOW people that have more than one child in school? HOW DO YOU SAVE their stuff? lol.. my daughter is so happy with her work but mommy just doesn’t have a big enough house for all of her work.. 🙁ReplyCancel

  • Tiffany - I stash stuff in my bread box!! I so need one of these! I liked you on Facebook too!ReplyCancel

  • Lisa Milewski - My favorite spot currently is my backpack which should be holding my books 🙂 No one goes in that bag because there’s usually nothing fun in there (ie books) so all my secrets are safe 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Lisa Milewski - I Tweeted! …..

    This was fun! 🙂ReplyCancel

  • sarah r. - i have a basket on top of my washer. i try to empty it regularly. it sometimes happens. sometimes.ReplyCancel

  • Stacy - Unfortunately, all of my stuff is stacked on the countertop!!! My hubby consolidates the “stacks” to make it easier! I save it to go through it later…ha! Ha! Ha!ReplyCancel

  • Stephanie - My stuff gets stashed in a tiny kitchen drawer and them all over the surfaces surrounding – counter, coffee table, entryway bench. That’s the fact, but I don’t really like to store it there really 🙂 I think the Folio would help!!ReplyCancel

  • Lori Brown - I have rescued my dining room table, yippee we can finally eat dinner as a family! But, now my teeny tiny desk is overflowing and vomiting papers on the floor!!! Help!!!!ReplyCancel

  • Erin - Let’s see… my crap is spread out among lists scribbled on post-it paper, mangled envelopes full of coupons and appt. reminders all which get stuffed in the diaper bag which doubles as my purse. I HAD a planner for 2011, which I haven’t used since about September since it’s too stuffed with unsent birthday cards. I need a place to keep it all together!ReplyCancel

  • Erin - I like you on facebookReplyCancel

  • Erin - I follow you on twitterReplyCancel

  • Erin - I follow @momagenda on twitterReplyCancel

  • ashley - I shove everything in the bottom drawer in my stand up jewelry box that my 15 month old son can barely reach and has now discovered. His new favorite thing to do is pull out all of the paperwork, receipts, etc. I guess I’m going to either break down and organize and clean out the drawer or move the mess to a new location, which realistically is much more likely for me. Ha!ReplyCancel

  • Erin - Tweeted about the giveaway!ReplyCancel

  • Bec - I made a pocket in the back of my current agenda and I sort through it once a week. momAgenda is brilliant! I want one.ReplyCancel

As a aside, I was lusting after this folio last week!ReplyCancel

  • E - Here’s my comment for FB.ReplyCancel

  • kristin - i stash stuff in the big, black hole that is my purse :SReplyCancel

  • Jaime - Where do I stash my piles? OMG don’t get me started, in bins under beds, on the ironing board – (bonus it helps me avoid ironing!) on top of the filing cabinet (getting closer to wear my stuff actually BELONGS) on the bar in the kitchen, on the kitchen table, on the coffee table….I think I might have a stuff stashing problem!ReplyCancel

  • Jaime - I already follow on facebookReplyCancel

  • Mandy - Currently, our kitchen counter is the bane of my existence, lol. Then, when that gets too awful, it all gets transferred to my desk. I need help 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Emily - I like you on facebook.ReplyCancel

  • Emily - I follow you on twitter.ReplyCancel

  • Emily - I follow MomAgenda on twitter.ReplyCancel

  • Jamie (@va_grown) - We have two overflowing junk drawers and two catch all baskets that used to be just for magazines. Ugh! 🙂 Love momAgenda products though. I use their planner and have been eyeing the kitchen folio for a while now!ReplyCancel

  • Jamie (@va_grown) - already follow momAgenda on Twitter.ReplyCancel

  • Jamie (@va_grown) - tweeted the giveaway.ReplyCancel

  • erin - I followed on Facebook!ReplyCancel

  • Heather - Everything is on the fridge or a cork board next to the kitchen. This folio would be awesome to have!ReplyCancel

  • Lizz - Right now, I’m stashing things mostly on the highest table tops and counters where my toddler can’t reach them!ReplyCancel

  • Jennifer - My stuff usually ends up in a drawer NEXT to the junk drawer. So essentially, we have two junk drawers. I’m embarrassed.ReplyCancel

  • Tilly - I stash stuff on my kitchen counter… That pile is getting really, really BIG. THIS momagenda would help me!ReplyCancel

  • Tilly - I follow babyrabies on twitter (7iIIY).ReplyCancel

  • Tilly - I follow momagenda on twitter (7iIIY)ReplyCancel

  • Tilly - Finally, i like baby rabies on Facebook!ReplyCancel

  • mrshiggison - We have that horrible and cliche “catch all” spot on the counter that everyone’s eyes just glaze over until stuff starts falling off it. Horrific.ReplyCancel

  • Meg - I put all of my stuff in a pile at the end of the kitchen table. Eventually, my husband gets so fed up that he puts it all in a box and in a closet. Usually, I figure out what he is doing before he finishes and am able to sort through the stuff that I need before he packs it all up. Having a place to put it all and keep it organized would be great!ReplyCancel

  • mrshiggison - I follow you on Twitter, Jill:)
    Because? Who wouldn’t? Really.ReplyCancel

  • Kat - I need this. lately I’ve been stashing things… in my purse. Like somehow I’ll be more productive if piles of coupons / stuff that needs to be returned / a pocket size planner that is not nearly big enough / receipts are all shoved in one big bag 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Sol - Right now everything starts off in a basket, on bulletin board but as the week progresses? end up on the dining table piled up.ReplyCancel

  • Lisa - My kitchen table takes the brunt of it, coupons, magazines, papers from kids school…everything!ReplyCancel

  • Kami - I totally have a junk drawer! …or drawers for that matter!

    Kaymee81@gmail.comReplyCancel

  • liz - I am embarassed to say that we currently “stash” stuff on our kitchen counter… it’s the pile that never goes away… and the system is flawed…

This would really really help our household organization system…. lol. a lot. like. a lot.ReplyCancel

  • Kami - I follow you on Twitter
    @themommadiariesReplyCancel

  • Kami - I follow momagenda on Twitter!ReplyCancel

  • Kella - Favorite place to stash “stuff” ummm…where don’t I put it. On top of the toaster oven, on the small sliver of counter near the coffee pot, oh at the empty place at the table, well really all over the table. Yeah my kitchen it’s a mess, and don’t even get me started with the dining room table that’s a dumping ground for everything else that doesn’t get stashed in the kitchen. This is what having a kid did to me and to think I’m itching to add another to this mess, yup it’s a sickness this baby having business.ReplyCancel

  • Brooke - I sort through everything as it comes it. I have a file on the counter that my husband is supposed to go through and take action on each thing, but really that is where paperwork goes to die.ReplyCancel

  • Censie - I stash everything in my purse and then it gets dumped when it gets too stuffed! BAD! lol Oh or the kitchen table! Yikes!ReplyCancel

    It;s frightening.ReplyCancel

  • Kathy - Everything sits in a pile on the desk in the kitchen. Every few weeks I have to go through it! Not the most organized way of running my house!ReplyCancel

  • Kimberly - I have two junk drawers in my kitchen and an entire closet with shelves (under the stairs) that is home to all my crap…or under my coffee table. I wish I had a fireplace to set it all on fire.ReplyCancel

  • Mariel - We have no junk drawer right now and so you guessed it. There is CRAP. Everywhere. And random crap at that. I am a stay at home mom (I work 1 weekday and weekends when husband is home). I clean shelves off, move things around, throw things away, and then those clean and empty counters and spaces become a blank canvas for more CRAP. Sigh.ReplyCancel

  • Kimberly - following @babyrabies on twitter (@kjoberk)ReplyCancel

  • Jaime - Right now everything starts off on our kitchen counter. Important stuff goes right into the bag I carry with me to work every day so that I can hopefully deal with it before it is due. The rest of the stuff stays there because I think it is somewhat important and I swear I will look at it tomorrow, then after a while it ends up in folders and piles in my closet until I can’t take it anymore and end up cleaning out my closet and throwing all of the “important” stuff away!!ReplyCancel

To-do lists, receipts, coupons, stuff for the kiddo’s daycare, those little cards your doctor gives you to remind you of appointments…yeah, everything. This bad boy looks like it would be a great way to kick off an organized new year!ReplyCancel

  • Ashley - 1. My favorite place to stash stuff is anywhere my 2 year old hellion can’t reach it (and now my mobile 10 month old in her walker). My dining room table is no longer a dining room table, but a storage spot for everything I don’t want touched by little hands and I haven’t had time to find a home for!ReplyCancel

  • Liz Brueseke - I like Baby Rabies on facebook!ReplyCancel

  • Janine @ Alternative Housewife - I shove everything into a binder in my desk… Which Sebastian then pulls out and spreads all over the floor. Don’t ask me why I don’t keep it somewhere out of his reach. I keep telling myself I’m going to create a whole new organizational system for everything and THEN I’ll move it… but it just doesn’t seem to happen.ReplyCancel

  • Natasha B - currently our “stash” spot is the cupboard above the fridge…everything is in there, lolReplyCancel

  • Crystal - Following @ BabyRabies 🙂ReplyCancel

  • rachael - we have an entire counter, aptly and affectionately known as the crap counter, under it lies the junk drawers (the one on the left and the one on the right as they are named). They are my Everest – if I can get those three things clean, it’s epic.ReplyCancel

It would be so wonderful to win this. I stash stuff in a drawer in my kitchen, on a side table /bar in the dining room, in my purse, you name it.

  • Jennifer @ Also Known As the Wife - It’s not my favorite place but all the mail, bills, random things my husband doesn’t know what to do with seem to end up on my desk in my home office. I would love an organizer to corral the papers that I can’t scan and shred for one reason or another.ReplyCancel

  • Jennifer @ Also Known As the Wife - I follow momagenda on Twitter.ReplyCancel

  • Tracy Kistler - OMG, I need this! I have stacks of stuff on my desk, and then my husband stacks stuff on top that he finds around the house and important things get shuffled to the bottom forgotten forever. Of course if I did get this I might have to consider changing my website name 😉 I’m sure the mom agenda is awesome, but it might take a christmas miracle to completely fix me.ReplyCancel

  • Meghan - Where don’t we store junk? We have a drawer in the kitchen, one in the dining room, the table next to the front door, and don’t even get me started on the office desk. It’s sad. I try to corral it about a once a week, then I usually forget to pay a bill on time.ReplyCancel

  • Kimberly - I stash stuff in my living room. It’s gated so the toddler can’t get to anything, but I end up putting piles and piles on the other side of the gate so neither I, nor the cat, can navigate the landmines of neglected projects and papers. Sad. Very sad.ReplyCancel

  • Paula - I used to have a junk box, then a junk drawer and now I have a junk closet! It’s not all junk, just stuff/papers/receipts/coupons/anything that needs to be organized. I am not proud of this system, and I hope to fund a solution to it soon!ReplyCancel
