Wow. Wow. Wow. I’m in love and see a serious addiction in my future- to Picaboo photo books. Good golly, this is the nicest photo book I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing my pictures printed in. Yes, this was/is a sponsored review, but I’m 100% positive I’d feel the very same way if it wasn’t.

Let me break it down for you like this. The picture quality is fantastic. The colors are spot on. The full bleed pages are amazing.

The paper is substantial. The lay-flat pages really do lay flat, a little feature I didn’t even realize I’d like so much until I saw it in person.

From the glistening, gorgeous photo on the front, to the soft leather wrapped around a very thick cover, the book is luxurious. That’s really the only word I can think to describe it.

As I mentioned in my first post, the book came together fairly easily with their software. I am blown away by the finished product and so happy we finally have these pictures living somewhere other than my computer!

I wound up going with The Madison with 20 lay-flat pages, regularly priced $150. I will be the first to say that’s steep (to me) for a photo book. And while the quality totally justifies the cost of the book full price, I would be more likely to buy it with a discount. The good news is Picaboo is always offering great specials. The next time a coupon pops up that applies to this book, I will definitely think of printing another one with Kendall’s newborn pictures. I’m already pricing out and planning on FINALLY printing a book of our wedding pictures from almost 5 years ago.

Now, for the fun part. One of you will win a $50 Picaboo Gift Card! Maybe some of you scrapbookers out there would be interested in applying it toward a new 12×12 Classic Custom Square book?

  1. oh this is just lovely! We’re getting H’s newborn/ family photos done and I’ll definitely need a photo book for that!

  2. I’d print my husband a deployment photo book. Every time he deploys, I take a daily photo of our daughter so he feels included in our lives. I’d like to put them all together in one book so he can see how much she’s changed while he’s gone.

  3. So beautiful! I would like to get my son’s birthday pictures printed in one of these photobooks.. love the quality & the lay flat pages!

  4. I would definitely do a book of Austin’s first year. Hopefully before this next baby comes:)

  5. After we did our first photo book of Ian’s first year for Christmas, I swore we’d do one every year. Of course, we haven’t! Now that #2 is here, I’d love to get back and fulfill my promise to myself. I’m 2 photo books behind!! C’mon GC! Mama wants a new set of photo books!

    Yours looks beautiful!

  6. I would love to print photos from my boys’ birthdays from april. I worked so hard on the parties!

  7. I’d love to win this! I did a photo boom for my son’s first year (now 15 months) and am working on a book for 2011 in photos – I’m expecting baby #2 in September, so I’ll do a book devoted to their first year as well.

  8. I would like to create a photo book with pictures of our 12 week old baby! Plus, I really need to do one for our engagement photos still from 3 years ago!

  9. Love the book! I’m glad it turned out well 🙂 I would love one to do the Froggy’s newborn photos in … I am SO behind on making photobooks, it’s not even funny.

  10. I would love to finally get our wedding pictures in an album! Our 4th anniversary is at the end of the month, so the timing would be pretty great, too. 🙂

  11. I’d like to get a photo book of pictures of us with our son in our first house. We recently moved to a new place and miss our old house.

I “like” Baby Rabies on FB

  12. We’re hopefully taking some family photos soon, which would be great to make a photo book of!

  13. Will use it to make a photo book of my 16 month old baby’s first year. I had planned on doing this anyway but the $50 towards it would be great.

  14. I have the custom book now for Drew’s first year and I am about 1/3 done with his second year’s now. I’d love to finish it and start on his third and Abby’s first!

  15. I would love to have a book made of my daughter’s first year. I have SO many pictures and had every intention of making a scrap book. She’s 5 months away from being 2 and I still haven’t done it yet!

  16. I follow Picaboo on twitter.

And I would LOVE picaboo credit. Arent their books just amazing? The software is so much easier than other companies. I cheated on them once, but never again. They are definitely the best AND affordable

  17. I want to get a photo book of so many things! Top priorities would be my wedding from almost 4 years ago and my daughter’s newborn pictures from 2.5 years ago.

  18. Would love to make a photo book of our wedding four years ago! Or my sons birth. Or my daughters..

  24. I want to print a book of wedding photos. I still haven’t printed ANY and would love to have something before our first anniversary!

  25. I would use it to build a photobook of my LO’s newborn photos! My original goal was to make one every six months but he has changed so much these first two months that I want to preserve them differently!

  26. There are a million photobooks I need to make if I won the gift card. But it would be a toss up between my wedding pictures that have never been printed or some pictures from the first year of my sons life!

  27. Definitely planning a book of my daughter’s first year. I have it half-designed in Picaboo and this gift card would mean a serious upgrade in quality.

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  28. Our oldest son is about to turn 18 and graduate from high school. I would love to make a photo book for him.

  29. I would love to do an album of our wedding, my first son’s baby pics and my second son’s baby pics…uh, that’s three albums. But seriously, they look SO good!!

  30. I would make a recipe book. My grandmother, who passed many years ago, was an avid foodie and would come up with the most amazing recipes. I would love to make a cookbook with beautiful pictures using her most famous and delicious recipes and make copies for my boys. Thanks for the opportunity.

  31. my grandfather recently passed away and i would love to use the picaboo bucks to make my mother a photobook of her family. We live across the world and it is very hard for her to be able to see everyone so this would be an excellent way for her to have them just a little bit closer..

  32. I would make a photo album of our wedding. We could only afford the “digital package” aka the only thing we got was a disk with our pictures on them. It’s about time I printed them out.

  33. Lovely! I would love love LOVE to win! I’m slowly spending the money to purchase ALL the digital files from my wedding (4/23/11!), and I want to make a book as soon as I finish paying for the photos. (by mid-June) Money is tight, so winning this would be awesome!

  34. Now, I should make a book of my wedding photos, etc, but what I want to do right now is make a book from our vacation to Disney — the girls would love flipping through it!

  35. LOVE Picaboo! I have 2 lay flat books ready for print, one of my weeding and one of my sisters wedding. I’m just waiting on a coupon before i send them to print. They are both going to cost about $200+ because i added a bunch of extra pages. I cannot wait to have them printed, i have heard lots of great feedback on who wonderful the books are!
    Thank you,

  36. would love to make a book for nana…she has such a special bond with her grandson… 😀

  37. I’d make the book of my son’s 2nd year 🙂 or the birth of the new one due in 3 weeks!

  39. I would love to put together a keepsake album for my father of his first and only grandson from his birth/ early years up until present at 8 yrs old. My family is moving to Germany & i’d like to leave him something special before we go :)It would be something I know he would appreciate.

  40. I’m so bad at printing out the awesome digital photos I take of my baby girl. I’d definitely put together a book of great shots from her first year.
