This is me whiiiiiiiiining.

I’m requesting a bloggy sick day. It seems that a weekend of drinking and floating down the river did me in.  I’m exhausted and I feel like shit.  To top it all off, I’m stuck in the effing Embassy Suites on the 9th floor, damn near hyperventilating every time I leave the room, trying to shut out the visions of Kendall somehow managing to fall over the top railing in the atrium to the floor below.  I hate this damn hotel. Plus, the internet that I am paying college tuition prices for is SHITTY and won’t let me email anyone and it’s sooooo slow.

Now that Kendall is napping, I want a nap, too. My throat hurts and I’m tired from chasing him all over this not at all toddler proofed room this morning. I must recharge so that I will have enough energy to leave this torture chamber and get some fresh air with him later.

With all that being said, please accept this as my excuse for a leave of absence. I’ve chosen last week’s Memos From Mommy winners via Random.org (comments 5,6 and 8), but I can’t email the winners. I don’t have the time or energy to post the new MFM contest right now, but I will get it up as soon as I can. It’s a very cool prize, too.  I will leave you with a teaser for now.  Check out MaureenLipinski.com.  If you like me, you’re going to love her.

Kendall is 13 months old and running me ragged.

You appear to have the same illness I have. Sore throat, general malaise. I whined on my blog yesterday. Hope you feel better soon.

I sympathize with you! A quick girls weekend in Vegas last month and it took me good week to recooperate from. But it’s so worth it!

No problem! Hope you feel better soon–drinking and floating down a river would kill just about anyone!

Rest and enjoy your break! I have irrational ‘falling over railing’ visions all the time. Do yourself a favor and don’t climb any Duomos in Italy if you ever go. *shudder*

You know what ? I recently got on the interstate and almost had a panic attack because I visualized a truck smashing into James’ carseat. I really thought I was loosing it. I am not happy that you have these weird thoughts but am glad I’m not the only one. Congrats on your first weekend away, you deserved it !!
